Once we start taking part in competitions, there starts another period of the athletic life of our boys and girls. We can say that the boys and girls who practice fencing for competition are very respectful and insightful, nimble, strong, fast and well-organized. Although it is an individual sport, very positive relationships are established during training. As the motto goes: “All for one and one for all!”, this is what defines the team work and the reality that one cannot progress and improve much if one doesn’t work and support one’s partner.
The children who practice fencing are able to analyze situations very well and to react to the unpredictable. They are able to create opportunities and to even anticipate upcoming reactions and moves. This is the best a sport can teach a future adult.
