We learn fencing by playing.

Starting to practice fencing from a young age provides various physical benefits, such as the maximization of speed, balance and coordination. We use the foil as a tool to touch our adversary, in an assembly of asymmetric, elegant, skillful movements in synch with our adversary, who has the same intentions.

The strategy and the mental effort used for each fencing action are similar to those employed during chess, but amplified by so many variables one needs to process during a very short amount of time. That is what makes our sport fascinating, complete and unique.

If you live in Valencia, you can bring your children to practice foil with us in Sala de Armas de Valencia. Contact us!
